The following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all dealings and interactions with Blue Lotus Furniture (the “Supplier”, “we”, “us”). Including its online webpage and social media pages. These Terms govern the use of our Service and form the agreement between You and Blue Lotus Furniture. If You do not agree with any part of these terms, You may not access the Service. The “Service” refers to any use of our website, social media pages, customer service options, in-store dealings, order placement, delivery services and any other interaction with Blue Lotus Furniture

Product & Description Information and Disclaimer
While we aim to describe our products (including materials, finishes, dimensions and colours) accurately on our website, in our catalogue and in any sales materials, small variations may occur. All measurements are approximate and stated tolerances may apply.
Photographs, illustrations and samples are provided for guidance only. Colours and finishes shown on screens may vary from the actual product due to device display settings, lighting conditions and photographic reproduction. Where a product is shown in multiple images, minor differences between images may occur.
Many of our products are made from natural materials (for example solid timber, leather or stone) or finished by hand. Natural variations in grain, tone, knots, veining, texture and slight dimensional differences are inherent to these materials and are not defects.
For custom, made-to-order or hand-finished items we will provide an estimated description of the colour/finish. If a precise match is required you should request a physical sample, swatch or inspect the finish in our showroom prior to placing your order.
A difference in colour, grain or finish does not, by itself, constitute a defect unless the product is materially different from the description provided at the time of sale. If you consider a product to be materially different from the description, notify us in writing within seven (7) days of delivery, providing photographs and your order number. We will assess the matter and, where the product is found to be materially different or defective, we will repair, replace or refund in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and these Terms.
Nothing in this clause limits any statutory consumer rights you have under South African law.
Availability and acceptance of order is subject to stock or materials.
Orders & lead times
Order acceptance is subject to stock and supplier confirmation. We will confirm estimated lead times at order.
Lead times for made-to-order items start once any required deposit is paid.
If you cancel an order before production starts we will refund any amount paid minus reasonable costs incurred by us. If production has started, cancellation may not be possible or may attract a fee.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse Orders due to:

Errors in pricing or descriptions
Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
All Prices are VAT inclusive
Payment methods accepted are those offered online and in-person. Methods accepted may vary between online and in-store.
Deposits and balance terms will be made clear per specific order depending on customer choice (e.g. choosing 50% deposit to confirm, balance before delivery).
Non-refundable deposits for custom or made-to-order pieces.
Pricing and payment
All prices are subject to change at any time before an Order is confirmed.
Orders made on a clearly erroneous pricing error on the website will not be fulfilled, rather a reasonable, adjusted price will be offered to the consumer for purchase upon noticing the error.
Payments can be made using accepted methods made available via online payment options.
Orders will not be processed without proper authorization from Your payment provider.
Delivery & Collection
We offer delivery options and also offer store collections where available. Delivery fees and options will be shown at checkout or quoted.
Delivery dates are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by suppliers, transporters, strikes, force majeure or events beyond our control.
Risk & acceptance: under the Consumer Protection Act, goods to be delivered remain at the supplier’s risk until the consumer has accepted delivery in accordance with the Act. You must inspect goods on delivery and inform the delivery team and us immediately of visible damage.
If you accept delivery despite visible damage, you may limit your remedies. Do not accept damaged goods without noting it on the delivery note and contacting us.
Returns and Refunds
Our Return Policy is part of these Terms:
Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging, with all documents included.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods, using the same payment method.
Non-returnable items: customized products, goods unsuitable for hygiene reasons if unsealed,goods that have been used or damaged by the consumer, or items inseparably mixed with others after delivery.

Use of Website and Copyright
All content, including designs, images, text and logos on the Website, are the property of Blue Lotus Furniture. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Warranty
We provide a warranty on couch frames for 12 months from delivery on applicable items (see product pages for details). Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, exposure to water, or improper assembly. All warranty claims are subject to inspection. Delivery fees may be incurred.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. If a warranty claim is accepted we will repair, replace or refund (as required under law and in line with the Consumer Protection Act).
Liability

Loss of profits or data
Delays due to events outside our control
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by You for the Goods.
You are responsible for ensuring furniture will fit into your property (doorways, stairwells, elevators). We are not liable for items that cannot be installed because of access constraints unless we agreed to measure or survey in advance.
Privacy & data protection
We collect personal information to process orders, deliver products and communicate with customers. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
